Cribs Manshions

During the last couple of years, most middle class Americans have been forced to cut back on their spending because of the nation's recession. Although, we are forced to truncate our spending celebrities have the least bit of sense on how much they are splurging. On my Saturday afternoon, while watching Cribs on MTV, a show displaying celebrities' mansions, I was astonished at the extravagant amount of money these celebrities are spending. For example, in the episode displaying Soulja Boy's crib, he claimed that his Gucci bed cost him $300,000! The young rapper's bed was covered from head to toe with Gucci pillows, Gucci sheets, and a Gucci comforter. I was astounded at the price that Soulja Boy paid for a bed. A bed is something you sleep on it shouldn't cost you more than $10,000 (that's even an excessive amount!). It aggravates me that celebrities like Soulja Boy splurge on such nonsense while there are those who are homeless and sick without anyone to help them. Instead of buying nonsensical items celebrities should help out others including people in need. After all we are the ones who pay to go see their concerts, movies, and sports games. Once and a while they should think about giving back, instead of spending there money on lavish items they don't necessarily need.
