A Defeated Team

As many may know within the last month there has been a hotter climates, finales of TV shows, and the NBA playoffs. This year in the conference finals (step before finals) the Boston Celtics and the Orlando Magic have gone head to head in a series of seven games to claim the title of conference championships of the east. Before the series began, Orlando Magic had a winning streak of over ten games. With the Magic's leading scorers Dwight Howard and Vince Carter nothing seemed out of reach. In the sports world, many anticipated the series to be an easy victory for the Orlando Magic against the Boston Celtics, a team made up of veterans. Within the first three games between the two teams in the last week basketball fans across Americans have become shocked.

Instead of a head to head series the Boston Celtics have taken a 3-0 lead against the Orlando Magic, only needing one more game to advance to the finals and sweep the Magics. While watching these games I was shocked and appalled by the Orlando Magic. Their defense was horrible; the team did not gel well together, instead they looked like a defeated team. It goes to show that even though the Orlando Magic's have a team filled with young talent, the Boston's Celtic's veterans experience is a more dominant factor. Only time will tell who will win the series and advance to win a championship. Will you be rooting for the team with experience or the underdogs?
