Keeping up with the Krazies

Last Sunday, Keeping up with the Kardashions returned on the E! network. As expected the show was full of drama. There were numourous arguements and downfalls. All in all I feel as though this episode has confirmed to me that this show is so fake. I used to watch it when it first started a couple of years ago. Compared to how it was then, a viewer can tell what scenes are set up/scripted. One of the past episodes Khloe Kardashion, one of the characters, hacks into her boyfriends phone and finds voicemails from various women. She throws a fit and immediately breaks up with him. Later on after the show was aired Khloe admitted that the scene was set up; they needed something juicy to show for the season finale so they scripted her breaking up with her boyfriend. In reality, the two had split two weeks ago prior to the shooting of the episode.

Many "reality" shows are not really reality. The producers might as well call it a "scripted show with real people". Viewers think that the cameras are following their favorite realitystars daily, but there not. Each realitystar actually has a schedule for the time they will be filmed during the week, like a job. Additionally, the producers have to set up the scene hours before it takes place to make sure the lighting is right. As well, the producers will tell the costars to repeat their lines if there not loud or clear enough, or they will force them to reanact a scene from a previous date for the cameras. I have become very disappointed at the reality shows today of how fake they have become.
